Friendship
[Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart are really weak and most susceptible?]
Sitting in Rikkai Dai’s noisy cafeteria munching on her sandwich lightly, looked up and saw him again. She was sitting in the corner alone by the tables, eating lightly while he read a manga book. It was a quieter corner than being in the centre of the cafeteria. Everyday she sat there eating, she always watched him. And he was always alone.
Everyday she fought with her inner self to just walk up to him and accompany him, but everyday she cowardly withdrew her decision and ended up sitting as far away just watching him instead.
~~~
It was the same story next day in same place and at the same void. sighed, she saw some of the regulars sitting together eating as well, but he was alone. ‘Why? Why?’ she thought frustrated. Not even thinking, she stood up. Picking up just her juice, she took slow steps towards him, her heart beating faster and faster with each step she neared him. Finally she stood in front of him… “K…K…Kirihara-san!?” she stammered.
He lifted his head up as some of the curls of his hair fell onto his eyes. Kirihara Akaya looked at her somewhat oddly. “Can I help you?” he asked not interested as he went back to his manga and flipped though a page.
[Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are: I love you. I’m sorry. Help me.]
“I’m sorry…” She said softly, “I…I…just….” She stammered as her shoulders fell, “I wanted to sit with you.” She spoke while blushing furiously.
“Suit yourself.”
’s face crumpled a bit… she still stood there speechless. She never expected him to be so rude.
“Are you going to stand there like an idiot?” Kirihara suddenly asked, “Sit down.” He repeated in a soft order.
Almost falling off her own feet, she scrambled to the chair. Pulling it, she sat down opposite him as he just fiddled with the manga. “What are you reading?” she found herself asking.
“Rebirth.”
blinked…..she was a bit clueless….he was being difficult, this is not how she had imagined. Hesitating, she asked, “What is it about?” not knowing anything about manga.
“I am still reading the first volume.”
sighed, ‘hopeless.’
~~~
[Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?]
“Akaya is an idiot.” Bunta muttered stuffing his face with sweets as usual as he sat on the table with Nioh and Renji.
Renji looked at the direction of Kirihara and frowned, “I will be 89.27% surprised if didn’t run off crying any minute now.”
Crossing his arms behind his head, Nioh leaned back on the chair his legs stretching in front of him. “Akaya is an idiot.” He said agreeing with Bunta, “ is cute. I wonder what she is doing there in the first place.”
“It's a possibility that it is because she’s the first one who is not scared of him.” Renji remarked remembering how Kirihara had literally terrified most of the first and second years when they had approached him during their practice. Although he didn’t blame them because he was at his demonic phase at that time, but no girl had approached him ever since. Or guy as a matter of fact. Apart then the tennis regulars, Kirihara spent most of his times alone.
Nioh grinned, “So want to do something about it?” rubbing his hands together.
“I don’t involve myself in other people’s business.”
Bunta and Nioh snorted at that remark.
~~~
Walking back home in defeat, sighed. The encounter with Kirihara Akaya was not one she had imagined. He was so rude to her that she was surprised at herself that she didn’t cry. But determination held her onto it, she had finally made the move and sat next to him and nothing was going to scare her away.
As she walked along a chain of stores, she stopped as she noticed the bookshop. Making her mind, she nodded, ‘why not?’ going in to buy something.
~~~
Sitting on her bed, flipped the first page of Rebirth. She had bought the first volume and began reading. She wanted to get to know Kirihara more and she thought the first thing she’d do was see what fascinated him so much about this story.
It was hours later that she finally put it down. The story of betrayal, love, trust, and friendship captured her all the way “Wow’ she whispered Reading the whole thing she didn’t even notice the time. ‘Im going to buy all the volumes tomorrow’ she thought loving the story already hugging it as she closed her eyes.
~~~
“It's you again.” Kirihara frowned as those words left his lips.
Taking her seat opposite him, “Yes.” She said with a smile, “I’m going to have lunch with you today.”
Finally looking up at her, his striking eyes watched her in a rather annoying look, but…
[Did you know that those who keep trying are people who are determined to be noticed?]
“Suit…”
“Don’t say it.” interrupted, “It sounds very rude when you do that.”
He looked taken aback, but shrugged as he picked up volume two of his manga.
“Is this as good as the first one?” asked, “I really felt sorry for Deshwitat.” She murmured absently.
He blinked looking at her, “You read it?”
Blushing slightly, she nodded, “I was curious why you found it so fascinating, so I picked up a copy yesterday.”
~~~
“You need to admire her, determined she is.” Nioh remarked smirking watching the little at it again.
“Are you talking about ?” Yagyuu asked following Nioh’s trail of sight.
“She still has bad taste in boys though.” Bunta crinkled his nose.
Nioh stood up, “Let’s go over.”
“I don’t think…” Yagyuu began, but sighed when he saw that Nioh was already there. Being a gentleman, he stood up and followed immediately. He knew he needed to be there if Nioh was going to cause havoc.
Bunta followed curiously.
~~~
[Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need someone to protect them?]
Kirihara Akaya sighed; his quiet lunch period had turned into madness. Wanting to read his manga in peace, he first found the girl from yesterday there again. And now his seniors were determined to make his life a living hell as they crowded the table. What’s worse he could feel some girls trying to scoot closer to the table because of them. Looking at , he saw her quite uncomfortable, urging the opportunity to snicker he chose not to. Picking up his manga, he stood up. She looked at him…
“You’re not leaving us, are you?” Nioh asked grinning at Akaya.
Akaya scowled, “I have something to do.” He said flatly.
“Enjoy.” he said sitting next to , “Then I’m going to enjoy -chan’s lovely company.”
“Bye….”
panicked as Nioh got closer, “A…Kirihara-san…’ she stammered standing up quickly almost bumping into Yagyuu, “I…I…I….” she began.
Akaya swore softly, ‘hopeless’ he thought. “Come with me, .” He spoke, “You’re supposed to help me with the library today.” Looking at her while motioning for her to get up, so she could escape the seniors company.
The look of relief on ’s face was one of pure joy….
Nioh couldn’t make out whether she was relieved to be away from him or because Akaya actually acknowledged her in some way.
~~~
groaned, he wasn’t kidding as she picked up the stack of books and heaved them onto the table. He really had to go to the library because he had been on library duty. And not being known for being a gentleman unlike Yagyuu, he had expected her to help all the way.
Her hands rested on the table as she tried to catch her breath, ‘if I don’t relax, Im going to collapse’ she thought moving her hair away from her face.
“Oy! What are you doing?? There are more books over here!” Kirihara called to .
“Kirihara! This is a library! Shhh!” the librarian whispered.
Kirihara rolled his eyes and waited for to bring the books.
He stared at her small figure and smirked. He couldn’t believe that somebody was interested in his whereabouts and was actually brave enough to talk to him.
“Err… Kirihara-san…”
Kirihara snapped out of his thought to see a huge heap of books in front of him.
“It’s heavy…” she managed to say under the pile of books.
“Just carry it to that shelf over there.”
struggled to see where she was supposed to put the books. She slowly walked towards the shelf trying to avoid tripping herself but with no avail.
Books went flying as ’s foot got caught on a loose carpet edge.
Kirihara sighed as quickly grabbed the books that surrounded her.
“You’re such a klutz,” Kirihara said as he walked over and helped her clean up her mess.
“Sorry…” she said quietly.
“Here you go,” said Kirihara as he piled the books to extreme heights on , “Watch where you’re going this time.”
“Okay…” responded and continued her struggle to the shelf.
~~~
“Man, he’s so mean!” Marui whispered.
“That’s Akaya,” Nioh replied.
“Guys… it’s rude to spy on them,” Jackal said in a soft voice.
“Don’t worry Jackal. There’s a 6.2% chance of us getting caught by Akaya because we’re pretty far from them and a 76.8% of getting caught by---”
“What are you boys doing here?!”
The boys turned around to see the angry librarian with her hands on her waist.
They all grimaced at the sight.
Nioh smacked Yagyuu in the back causing him to stumble, “Were looking for Yagyuu’s glasses.” He spoke.
The librarian wasn’t convinced.
Yagyuu sighed as he crouched, then looked up pretending that he found them “Got it.” He said with a serious face as he put the glasses back on.
She sighed. “I don’t want to hear anything.” She said walking away from them.
They all breathed a sigh of relief. “Good thinking, Nioh.” Marui told him happily.
“Next time warn me when you want to hit me.” Yagyuu muttered.
Nioh just grinned.
~~~
As put the last book on the proper place in the shelf, she sighed. She was not making progress and what was worse…
“You idiot!”
looked up startled. She looked at Kirihara and saw that his eyes were looking at her legs. Her knee in particular that was very much bruised….
“Why didn’t you say you hurt yourself when you fell?!” he demanded.
“It doesn’t matter.” She said softly looking away from him.
“But….”
“It doesn’t matter.” She repeated looking down, “Im done now.” Muttering as she picked up her bag, “Goodbye.” whispered as she walked away from him with a broken heart.
~~~
A couple of days later as Kirihara sat at the cafeteria trying to read his manga he just couldn’t. As much as he loved the fact of being alone, but every time he looked in front of him he had hoped to see her sitting there annoying him with those stupid cute questions that she kept asking him. “Che…” he swore putting the manga down. “Can’t concentrate.” He muttered.
As he munched on his sandwich, he noticed Sanada walking towards him, “Im going to sit here.’ The vice captain of the team spoke taking a seat.
Kirihara just nodded, then hesitating… “Errr…’ as Sanada drank his juice. “Do….Sanada-fukubuchou” scratching his head, “Do you know anything about girls?” making Sanada cough suddenly as he tried not to choke on his juice.
Sanada tried to return to his posture. He sat back up, fixed his cap and glared at the junior.
“Don’t ever ask me that again,” he said as he continued with his juice.
“Yo! Everybody!” Nioh greeted as he took a seat beside Sanada, “Sanada, you look a little pale. Are you okay?”
“It’s nothing.”
“Errrr… Nioh-senpai… do you…” Kirihara started off.
Nioh raised an eyebrow.
“Ahh… do you…” Kirihara continued to trail off.
“There’s an 83.4% chance that Akaya’s going to ask about girls,” Renji interrupted then looked at Sanada, “And a 94.6% chance that Sanada didn’t answer him.”
“Oh?! Our Akaya’s actually going to try to approach a girl?? I’m a genius aren’t I?” Marui asked as he walked in the conversation with a tray full of desserts.
“Ah crap. Never mind,” Kirihara said as he took his sandwich and manga and walked off.
“Renji. It wasn’t necessary for you to announce that he was interested in girls,” Sanada said as he watched Kirihara leave.
“You know I could have helped him,” Nioh said as he took a bite out of his apple.
~~~
Kirihara debated where to eat the rest of his lunch. He also wanted to finish his manga. He decided to go on the top floor where it’s usually quiet and open.
When he arrived to the top floor, he saw a group of first year girls eating and chatting. They looked up to and their face paled.
Kirihara sweat dropped.
“IIIYYAAAH!! It’s Kirihara-san!!! RUN!!!”
“AHHHH!!!”
“O-o-oy! What’s with you girls?!” Kirihara yelled behind the girls. He sighed. When he thought it was empty, he saw one girl still sitting there.
“K-kirihara-san?”
Kirihara looked to see still sitting where her friends had took off from. “What? You’re not going to run too?” he asked bitterly.
Her eyes flickered and she looked away, “You don’t scare me.” She said softly.
Kirihara cursed himself softly; he didn’t know why he’d get all defensive around her. And he had no idea how to talk to a girl… just as he was going to say something.
“I knew I’d find you here.”
Kirihara’s eyes narrowed, ‘if you embarrass me, Im going to kill you and I don’t care if you’re my senior' as he looked at Nioh with those eyes.
Ignoring him, Nioh grinned. This was too much fun for him, “ .” Looking at her, “Want to come to watch us practice after class?’ he asked.
looked surprised, “W….” she began, “Why…?” she finally asked.
“What? You’re going to disobey your senior? You know better than that! Anyway! We’ll see you after school,” Nioh said as he waved behind him.
‘What does he have in mind?’ Kirihara thought.
“Errr… is that alright Kirihara-san?” asked timidly.
Kirihara rolled his eyes and turned to leave.
“It doesn’t matter. You better finish your lunch. Bye.”
~~~
[Did you know that when you watch me I lose all focus?]
“Oh? She’s actually here,” Yagyuu said when he saw arrive at the tennis courts.
Nioh smirked and rubbed his hands.
“Puri~ let’s make this interesting. Oy! !”
Seeing Nioh waved at her, blushed and gave a small wave back.
“Nioh… don’t do anything stupid…” Jackal warned him.
“There’s a 79.6% chance that Kirihara’s not going to be playing his fullest today,” Renji calculated.
The door slammed open from the boys changing room. A few first year players scrambled away. Kirihara stood by the door with his eyebrow twitching.
“Oy Kirihara, look who’s here,” Jackal pointed to ’s direction.
Kirihara scowled then frowned.
“Stupid seniors…” Kirihara grumbled as he walked towards the tennis court looking down.
looked at him. She was confused to why he was acting this way. “Yanagi-senpai…” looking at the taller one, “Is it really okay for me to be here?” she asked as she blushed a bit, “I still don’t know why Nioh-senpai invited me.” She admitted while her right foot moved in circles behind her. “And Kirihara-san is very angry because…. because of me.”
Renji looked at her, a hand on her shoulder. “You’ll be fine, -san.” Smiling at her, “Nioh is just testing Akaya.”
She looked up at the taller boy with a confused look in her eyes, “Testing?”
Bunta grinned as he crossed his arms. “This is all because they probably want to see if Akaya still has a human side in him or not.”
~~~
[SLAM]
The freshman’s racquet blew right out of his hand.
“Next.” Kirihara growled trying not to blow up any minute. ‘Why am I angry? Why am I acting like this? Why is Renji-san’s hand on her shoulder pissing the hell out of me?’
A terrified first year hesitated, but sighed while lifting his racquet he picked it up and walked to the court fearing for his life.
“My serve.” Kirihara spoke as he lifted his arms…. [SMACK]
[Swoosh]
The freshman winced as he felt his wrist twist a bit at the force of the racquet that blew away.
“AKAYA!” Sanada spoke looking at the second year, “What are you doing?”
Throwing his racquet, “That girl is driving me crazy, get her out of here!” all he could do is think about her and she was driving him crazy because he had no idea how to handle the situation he was in with her.
Sanada glared at Kirihara, “Go do some laps.”
Bunta and Nioh grinned.
“Pay up.” Bunta told Nioh.
Nioh sighed, handing Bunta some money.
“What did you two bet on now?’ Jackal asked knowingly.
“We bet on how long it would take for Akaya to snap.” Bunta smiled popping gum as usual.
Jackal looked wryly at his doubles partner.
“I said half an hour, Nioh said two hours.”
frowned, hearing Kirihara yell that she looked down. ‘What am I doing?’ she thought. She had hoped that she would get to talk to Kirihara while at practice when Nioh invited her, but… feeling tears stain her eyes at his words, she took a step back and began walking away.
“ -san?” Yagyuu said looking her way.
“I….I…” tears spilling down her cheeks, “Im going to go.”
“Give me my money back.” Nioh told Bunta. “I won.”
Bunta glared, but paid up with a sigh.
“Did you bet on…”
“How long it will take her to cry.” They both said in unison.
~~~
“Damnit…” Kirihara sighed as he slowly walked away from the school. He saw as she ran away from the court. What got him even more upset was that he saw Nioh and Bunta paying each other.
“Not another one...” he thought sadly.
He walked pass a store to see that the new volume of Rebirth was out.
He smiled a little.
He walked into the store and started to search for his manga. He saw a group of girls giggling as they read some books.
He smirked and grabbed his manga.
He paused as he was about to pay for the book.
“Che. Why not?” he thought as he grabbed another copy of the manga and paid for it.
~~~
[Did you know that something valuable is only realized only once the person loses it?]
As days passed by, Kirihara was on the lookout. He didn’t know where that girl went, but he was starting to get edgy now and in a weird way he realized….
‘I miss her company’ he thought to himself one hand in a pocket and the other carrying his manga with him.
“Oy! Akaya!” Nioh’s voice interrupted his thoughts.
He grimaced, “What do you want, Nioh-senpai?” he asked.
“You left this with Renji.” Handing him a manga copy. Then Nioh’s eyes went to his hand, “You’ve got two?!” he asked, “I didn’t know you were that obsessed unless….” Grinning.
His cheeks flaring, “Don’t say it.”
“Hey everybody! Oooo! Nioh gimme your cake! Eh? How come you have two copies of that manga?” Marui asked.
Kirihara turned an even brighter red.
“It’s nothing! It was on sale!” he managed to blurt out.
“There’s an 87.4% chance of that Akaya is lying,” Renji joined in coming out of nowhere scaring the life out of Bunta.
“Shut up all of you!” Kirihara screamed.
His seniors moved backed as they watched Kirihara pack up his stuff and stalked off.
“Maybe you shouldn’t have done that Renji…” Marui said.
“There’s a 76.7% chance of Akaya looking a place to eat without us and an 84.6% chance that he’s hoping to see .”
“Shall we go and check your theory Renji,” Nioh smirked.
“Akaya’s already been through enough, Nioh,” a voice interrupted.
They all turned around to see Sanada.
“S-sanada!” Marui whimpered.
Sanada gave them all a hard look.
“You’re all going to do 30 laps at practice.”
“EH?!”
~~~
“Why do I have to have stupid seniors who don’t help me with anything,” Kirihara grumbled.
He has left the cafeteria to go outside the school to look for a spot to eat and read.
“I think I should hide in case they’re spying on me again,” he thought. He looked around and quickly ran. He saw a huge tree that sat beside the school and decided to climb it.
“Ahh…peace and quiet…” he mumbled. He leaned against the trunk and started to read his manga.
“I wish she was here to ask me something stupid…” he thought sadly.
“ -chan! Where are you going to eat?”
Kirihara immediately looked down to see that had decided to sit right under the same tree where he was hiding. He kept quiet as he watched and her friends sat in a circle.
“Hey -chan. How come you’re sitting here for lunch instead of Kirihara-san?”
sighed.
“Is it because you finally found out how he’s such a psycho and he turns all evil in second?” a girl asked as she drank her juice box.
Kirihara squirmed. He didn’t like to hear girls talking about how he’s some sort of monster.
“He’s not really like that! I mean…” turned away and continued to slowly chew her sandwich, “He’s not as mean as you think he is…”
“Psssshhh! Whatever! He’s such a weirdo! I hear he goes all red-eyes when he’s really angry and starts to hurt everybody he sees!” another girl said.
“OY! My eyes only turn red when I’m playing tennis!” Kirihara yelled back.
The girls looked up to see Kirihara getting ready to jump down from the tree.
“KYAAA!!! Look! His eyes ARE turning red!!!”
“AHHHH!!!”
The girls scurried away, leaving who looked like she was going to die.
“Kirihara-san… why is it that you are on that tree?” she asked nervously.
“Che, I was trying to hide from my seniors. They were being stupid again.”
“I see…”
Kirihara jumped down from the tree and sat beside . He took his juice and manga out of his bag. looked at him with a confused face.
Kirihara glanced at her.
snapped her attention to her own lunch with her face flushed.
Kirihara looked back at his manga. “O yea, here.” Tossing the book onto her lap.
looked at what Kirihara had tossed onto her lap. It was the new volume of Rebirth. She looked even more confused.
“Just read it,” Kirihara commanded to his classmate
nodded as she opened the new book in front of her.
“Thank you…” she said softly.
Kirihara glanced at her from the side. ‘Che, she’s so cute when she’s reading like that,’ he thought as concentrated on the first page.
“Have you read yours yet?” she asked suddenly.
Shaking his head, “No.”
He saw her blush a bit, hesitantly patted the seat next to her, “Would you like to read with me?” she asked, her voice barely audible, but he heard her loud and clear.
Kirihara felt his voice dry up, he had never really been in a situation like this with a girl before. He nodded quietly and sat down next to her, trying to position himself properly but he still had to lean in a weird angle considering the tree was not a nice and comfy one to lean onto.
“Kirihara-san?” looking up at him.
Looking at her, he finally saw her eyes and they sparkled in blue watching him carefully. “Y…yes?”
“We can do this.” said softly not looking at him, she moved a bit and his arm fell over her shoulder and she sat close to him holding the book up for the both of them. ‘Is it alright?” blushing slightly.
Kirihara hesitated, his heart thumping so loud. He was a loner; he didn’t care about anyone, but….. ‘Why does she keep insisting on getting close to me?’ He thought, but somehow he found his arm tightening his hold on her and he brought her closer to him. “Let’s read.” Both of them seated comfortably.
~~~
Jaws dropped, Nioh and Bunta tried to register the scene in front of them a hundred times but it would not click.
“Didn’t I punish you enough?” Sanada demanded watching them eavesdrop on Kirihara and .
They both froze.
“Go and do 50 more laps maybe that will tire you out of other people’s business!’ he ordered.
“But this is the good part…” Bunta muttered.
Sanada glared at him sending chills down Bunta’s spine. Nioh has already left him and was running his laps.
Sanada glanced at Kirihara and . He gave a small smile. He was glad that Kirihara has gotten softer around the girl and he was proud of him.
“When you guys are done your laps, go to class. If I catch you guys spying on those two again, I’ll make Renji do some special training for you!”
“No way!”
~~~
[Did you know that friendship always tends to blossom into something more?]
was smiling a lot more the next few weeks. She has been eating her lunch and was reading manga with Kirihara by the same tree. She opened the school doors and ran towards their meeting place.
Kirihara was already sitting and waiting for her. He smirked as she ran towards him.
“You’re early Kirihara-san!” she smiled cheerfully.
“Che, I’m not early. You’re late,” Kirihara replied.
stuck her tongue out as she took her seat beside him.
He smiled and gave her a peck on her cheek. She blushed and opened their manga.
The two have been buying manga for the past week. They would each chose different series and took turns reading each other’s favorites. Whenever the new Rebirth comes out, they would buy it and read it together.
Nioh and Bunta were at it again. This time, they were careful that Sanada was not watching them. They were watching the two with their heads against a wall and tried to listen in to their conversation.
“There’s a 93.8% chance that you guys are spying again.”
The two boys jumped to see Renji standing behind them with his arms crossed.
“Yanagi…” Nioh’s face paled.
Bunta gulped.
Renji smiled.
~~~
“What is it?” Kirihara asked when lifted her head up sharply.
“I thought I heard screaming…” she murmured, then sighed closing her eyes. “I’m going to sleep.” Putting her head on his shoulder.
“You didn’t’ ask….” Smirking.
hugged his arm lightly; “Do I need to…” her voice came out in a teasing tone.
He smiled softly, “No.” kissing her forehead lightly.
Closing her eyes, she felt his arm around her. The little hugs and peck on the cheeks were happening more frequently now, but they were still not that close. They were still on family name basis, and she wished…
~~~
Pushing his glasses up, Yagyuu looked at Kirihara. “Are you sure?” he asked.
Kirihara nodded lightly, “I’m not good at this…” rubbing a hand behind his head. “Im clueless.”
“We’ll need Yanagi as well.”
Kirihara grimaced, “Do we have to?”
Yagyuu’s lip turned up a bit, but not enough to form into a smile, “I’m sure Yanagi has enough data about so you’ll know what to get her for her birthday.”
Kirihara nodded.
~~~
Birthday Day
Sitting in class, chewed on her pencil nervously and looked towards the empty seat. Kirihara wasn’t there, he wasn’t in most of his classes, ‘Of all days’ thought sadly. He wasn’t there for lunch either; she sat under the tree waiting for him, but nothing.
After class, she walked out hurriedly when school was over and went towards the tennis club. She hesitated, but stood by the gate and looked around. There was no sign of the curly messy hair that she so loved so much. Sighing, she turned around to leave…
“ .”
Stopping, turned and looked up towards the tall vice captain. “Sanada-senpai….” Bowing lightly, “Hi.”
“You’re looking for Akaya.” More of a statement than a question.
A touch of red hit her cheeks, but she nodded lightly. “I was worried…” looking everywhere but at him.
Sanada’s eyes softened, “He is home sick, -san.” He told her.
’s eyes widened, “Is he alright?” she asked her voice filled with concern.
“He should be fine.” Looking at her, “You can visit him if you want. Yanagi is taking his homework for him after practice.”
nodded, “Yes, I’d like that.” Without thinking, “Can I watch practice till Yanagi-senpai finishes?”
Sanada nodded.
~~~
stood nervously in front of Kirihara’s home when Renji rang the bell. She fiddled with her hands and didn’t know what to say or do. In a minute, the door opened and….
Her cheeks flushed as she quickly moved her face away and concentrated on the wooden panel of the doorway.
There stood Kirihara Akaya…
Messy cute curls of a hair…
And very much shirtless…
Only in boxers…
Rubbing his eyes and yawning at the same time before realizing who stood there.
~~~
Akaya stood stunned; before he realized it he had slammed the door shut on their faces. ‘Shit’ he thought running back up to put on a shirt.
“Why didn’t he call me to wake me up?!” he yelled to himself as he threw clothes everywhere.
~~~
Renji glanced at who was still turning into many shades of red.
He smiled.
“This is definitely worth seeing. Have to remember this and input it on to my computer later.”
Kirihara finally opened the door and scowled at Renji.
[[Did you know that a scowl uses more muscles than a smile? Avoid wrinkles by smiling [sorry, just had to put that in]]
“That’s no way to greet your senior,” Renji said with a smirk.
Kirihara twitched.
“Come on in,” he finally said.
gave him a sympathetic smile as she walked in. The house was small and was very neat. Kirihara led them to the living room and had them sit on the couch. Just as the two guest settled in, Renji snapped his fingers and stood up.
“I just remembered something. My mom needs me home to do some taxes. Here’s your homework Akaya. I’ll see you tomorrow for practice. Bye ,” Renji blabbered as he exited the house.
Kirihara cursed at his senior for leaving him so quickly. sweat dropped to Renji’s sudden exit and to Kirihara’s cursing.
“So… How are you feeling Kirihara-san?” asked.
