Our First Christmas
I don't like
Christmas....
was a freshman in his class. Being an only child like Atobe, she had workaholic
parents too that were always overseas on business. Atobe had gone out with her
once and thoroughly enjoyed her company, but he was not one to let one girl keep
him firm. "Will you shut up!" he muttered sitting up. Frowning, Atobe
stood up and walked to the window as he hung up the phone. Opening it, a cool
breeze hit his face and he couldn't help but smirk. There she was, as innocent
as ever. Sitting on a tree with a box in her hand, smiling. "Jump." he
commanded.
hesitated, "You'll
catch me?" "Just jump, brat."
jumped, and Atobe
caught her firmly in his arms. Her arms came around his neck, "Merry Christmas,
Keigo." kissing his cheeks lightly. Atobe felt her body press up against him and
he could feel her trembling from the cold. "Cold lips." Smirking at her.
smiled, pushing her
long dark hair behind her ears, "Want to warm it up for me?" she teased.
Rolling his eyes, Atobe walked back to the bed, "Why are
you here?" going back to his laid down position as
took off her jacket
and then followed by her sweater. "I'm spending Christmas with you."
spoke as a matter of
fact. Atobe blinked.
frowned looking at
Atobe with gray eyes, "You don't have plans, do you?" Atobe shrugged, "Not really." he admitted.
sat next to him,
"Pathetic, right?" watching him softly. "Not pathetic." his eyes closed, "Just useless parents."
fell next to him on
the bed, she lay her head on the other side of the pillow, "I got you a
present." "I'll probably hate it."
chuckled softly, "You would." she agreed
softly, "I don't know what I was thinking when I picked it up," As she got off
the bed and walked to the box that she had carried in. Fay picked up an object
and went back to Atobe, "For my Ore-Sama." showing him a little kitten as Atobe
opened his eyes. Before Atobe could say anything,
put the kitten on his
stomach. Scratching his hair lightly, he sat up a bit, "How
unusual...." watching as the pure white kitten stared back at him with striking
green eyes.
smiled, "This is Leiko." Atobe smirked at the name.
smiled, "I have
Michiko at home." as she stroked the kitten lovingly. Atobe picked it up and held it above his head, "You're a
weird one
" he said softly facing
the kitten.
"And that's why you love me." Kissing his cheeks lightly. A very light hint of a smile touched Atobe's lips, "Maybe."
leaned forward again
and pressed a light kiss against his lips, "Merry Christmas." Atobe put the kitten onto his lap and sat up crossing his
legs on the bed, looking at
seriously, "I didn't
get you anything." frowning.
looked at him, "Its
alright." watching him, "I'm happy I got to spend Christmas with someone."
felt Atobe move next
to her and the next thing she knew was that Atobe was hugging her from the back,
"You're such a brat." his arms coming tightly around her. Atobe leaned on the
back and made
lean between his
outstretched legs. "I can give you all of my attention tonight, that's my
present to you." Atobe whispered in her ears. "You're a jerk you know that." getting comfortable as she
leaned against him, she rested her head below his jaw.
moved her hand behind
her and touched his face lightly, "You need to admit you love me, you arrogant
ass." she murmured closing her eyes. So warm, she thought to herself.
felt Atobe's chin rest on top of her head as His
arms tightened around her. She could've sworn she heard Atobe murmur something,
but it escaped her. Frowning, but still she settled in engulfed by sleep aready. Someday Maybe one day You will be mine And I will love you
Atobe had murmured.
That was the first thing Atobe Keigo thought as he walked along the streets
alone to his house. Normally, the driver would be picking him up, but Atobe
chose to walk today. As the sun set and the gloomy whether started, it gave an
odd eerie chill to it.
Just the way he was feeling...
As he kept walking, his bag slung on his shoulders, recalling his teammates
words...
"Atobe, I know Christmas at our place is not as grand as your home, but Kaa-San
says come over if you get the chance" Oshitari had invited him earlier in the
club.
Atobe had heard Shishido and Ootori arguing because Shishido had still not
bought his parents presents.
Shaking the thoughts out of his head, Atobe walked into the mansion being
greeted by the butler. Maids coming over and fussing over him as usual, taking
off his jacket, his bag, and his books.
As Atobe walked along the long corridor towards his room, he felt an unbearable
feeling of loneliness. It was not just quiet, but the silent was unbearable, more
like someone was waiting to scream. Turning right along the corridor.
"Young Master Keigo, would you like some dinner brought to your room?" one of
the maids asked popping out of nowhere standing in her uniform. She stood by the
side of the wall where pictures of descending generations of Atobe's family was
displayed.
Shaking his head, Atobe kept on walking, "Not tonight. I don't think I can bare
to eat anything", yawning to himself, or stomach it.
"Young Master Keigo..." The butler spoke walking into his room after knocking.
"Your father has requested to see you via video conference to wish you a Merry
Christmas...."
Atobe frowned, the baka and his damn video conference, "Tell him I'm
asleep." Atobe spoke firmly hands in his pocket walking towards the window and
looking outside into the streets.
A maid walked in, "Your mother is on the phone." she said in an almost scared
tone.
"Tell her I'm busy." Came the curt order from the young master.
Butler and maid looked at each other, bowing slowly out of respect. They decided
to leave the young master alone. Atobe was in an arguable mood, and no one dared
to question or push him.
Atobe walked to his bed and lay down on it. Arms crossed behind his head, and
feet crossed, he stared into the ceiling. This was his domain, his sanctuary,
where he could be himself...
When was the last time we all had a proper dinner together? Atobe thought
to himself as he tried to recall any memory. A scowl appeared on his lips as he
could not remember any event.
It was a while later when Atobe had almost fallen asleep that his private phone
began ringing. Letting it ring and ring, an annoyed look appeared on his face as
the persistent person would not stop ringing. Rolling onto his side reaching
over the pillows, Atobe picked it up. "What?"
"Feeling sorry for yourself, Keigo?" Came a soft whisper on the other side.
"I should've known it was you, brat." Muttering more to himself than her as he
moved back onto the bed, his eyes closed. "What do you want?" Obvious that he
was clearly annoyed.
"Won't you let me in?" Came
's voice over the phone, "I'm by
your window and its snowing and its freezing and Ill catch a cold and I'll....."
It was the first warm Christmas for the both of them....
